Atopivet® Spot-On

Atopivet® Spot-On is a topical product for use on dogs and cats to help maintain a healthy skin barrier by hydrating and nourishing the skin.

Each 2 mL pipette contains: Water, Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil, Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate (Dermial®), Sphingolipids (Biosfeen®), Methylparaben, Fragrance (Linalool, Geraniol, D-Limonene), Lecithin, Propylparaben.

Manufacturer Directions for Use:

Avoid exposure to water (bathing, swimming) for at least two days prior to and after application of Atopivet Spot-On.

Shake well before applying. To open the pipette, press the cap down until a click is heard, then pull cap off. For best results, part the pet’s fur and apply directly on affected areas or apply entire contents of pipette directly to the skin between the shoulder blades. Apply the number of Atopivet® Spot-On pipettes specified*, twice per week for at least 4 to 8 weeks or as directed by your veterinarian. Do not contact or allow children to contact the application site until dry.

*For pets < 33 lbs, apply 1 pipette. For pets ≥ 33 lbs, apply 2 pipettes.

Store in a cool, dry place at a controlled room temperature (<77°F). Keep in a secure location out of the reach of children and pets.

Exposure to extreme temperatures or moisture may affect the integrity and effectiveness of medications and supplements. Always store this product properly (e.g., away from the bathroom, kitchen sink, or other damp places).

There are no documented side effects reported for this product when used according to the manufacturer’s recommended guidelines. If skin irritation develops or increases, stop use and call your veterinarian.

Please discontinue use and consult your veterinarian if your pet experiences any persistent or troublesome side effects, or if you notice anything unusual.

While there are no documented drug or food interactions associated with this product, potential interactions may still be possible. Please ensure your veterinarian is aware of all medications, supplements, and over-the-counter (OTC) products that your pet is currently using. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when multiple medications and/or supplements are given together.

Do not use this product on animals with a known or suspected allergy or hypersensitivity to it or any of its ingredients. Allergic reactions to medications, supplements, and OTC products may occur. Please inform Vetsource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known sensitivities or allergies, especially to medications and supplements.

If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, discontinue therapy and call your veterinarian immediately or seek emergency veterinary attention. Symptoms may include (but are not limited to): swollen lips, tongue, face, or airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; and widespread hives or itching.
