Usage
Dasuquin® Advanced Chewable Tablet should be given as directed by your veterinarian. Consult your veterinarian to determine which formulation is right for your dog.
Manufacturer Dosing Recommendations
Small to Medium Dogs
Under 10 lbs: 1/2 chew daily for the initial 4-6 weeks, then 1/2 chew daily for maintenance
10-29 lbs: 1 chew daily for the initial 4-6 weeks, then 1/2 chew daily for maintenance
30-59 lbs: 2 chews daily for the initial 4-6 weeks, then 1 chew daily for maintenance
Large dogs
60-120 lbs: 2 chews daily for the initial 4-6 weeks, then 1 chew daily for maintenance
Missed Doses
Give the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give 2 doses at once.
Side Effects
Dasuquin® Advanced Chewable Tablet has no known serious side-effects. If your pet is using this medication for the first time please watch for any allergic reactions that might occur, if your pet develops a rash, etc call you veterinarian immediately. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.
Drug & Food Interactions
There are no documented drug interactions with this medication. Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medications your pet is on. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. Your veterinarian may adjust the dosage of each medication while on this medication. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
Cautions
For animal use only. Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.

Store at 68°F to 77°F in controlled room temperature. Keep bottle sealed tightly. Keep this medicine out of reach of children. Store in a childproof container. Store this medicine in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not store this medicine in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink or in damp places. The medicine may break down if exposed to heat or moisture.
