Manufacturer Dosing Recommendations
Small to Medium Dogs
Under 10 lbs: 1/2 chew daily for the initial 4-6 weeks, then 1/2 chew daily for maintenance
10-29 lbs: 1 chew daily for the initial 4-6 weeks, then 1/2 chew daily for maintenance
30-59 lbs: 2 chews daily for the initial 4-6 weeks, then 1 chew daily for maintenance
60-120 lbs: 2 chews daily for the initial 4-6 weeks, then 1 chew daily for maintenance
Give the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give 2 doses at once.
Dasuquin® Chewable Tablets has no known serious side-effects. If your pet is using this medication for the first time please watch for any allergic reactions that might occur, if your pet develops a rash, etc call you veterinarian immediately. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.
Drug & Food Interactions
There are no documented drug interactions with this medication. Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medications your pet is on. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. Your veterinarian may adjust the dosage of each medication while on this medication. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
