Product Information
Drontal® Plus provides an effective first-line defense against intestinal parasites in dogs. Drontal® Plus provides the power of three deworming agents in one tablet to eradicate the most common intestinal parasites: tapeworms, hookworms, roundworms and whipworms.

Drontal® Plus 68 mg 1 ct, 2 ct, 5 ct: 14 mm, yellow, round tablet, scored in half, imprinted with D30. (NDC 58198-0066-01)
Drontal® Plus 136 mg 2 ct, 5 ct: 19 mm, yellow, oval tablet, scored in half, imprinted with D60.  (NDC 58198-0070-01)

Usage
Drontal® Plus should be given orally as directed by your veterinarian as a single oral treatment, unless otherwise directed.

2-4 lbs: 1/2 tablet
5-7 lbs: 1 tablet
8-12 lbs: 1.5 tablets
13-18 lbs: 2 tablets
19-25 lbs: 2.5 tablets
Drontal® Plus 68 mg (Medium Dogs)
26-30 lbs: 1 tablet
31-44 lbs: 1.5 tablets
45-60 lbs: 2 tablets
Drontal® Plus 136 mg (Large Dogs)
45-60 lbs: 1 tablet
61-90 lbs: 1.5 tablets
91-120 lbs: 2 tablets
Missed Doses
Quite often, a single dose of this medication is effective. Measures should be taken to prevent re-infection.
Side Effects
There are very few side effects when the drug is given at the usual dose. Side effects may include loss of appetite, vomiting, drowsiness, diarrhea.

Drug & Food Interactions
Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, and a drug interaction may be anticipated. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
Cautions
Do not use Drontal® Plus in pregnant animals. Keep out of reach of children.
Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.

Store at 59°F to 86°F in controlled room temperature. Keep this medicine out of reach of children. Store in a childproof container. Store this medicine in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
