Enalapril 2.5 mg Tablets 30 ct & 60 ct: 6 mm, yellow, round (biconvex) tablet, scored in half, imprinted with T;2. (Manufacturer Taro: NDC 51672-4037-03)
Enalapril 5 mg Tablets 30 ct & 60 ct: 8 mm, yellow, round (biconvex) tablet, scored in half, imprinted with T;5. (Manufacturer Taro: NDC 51672-4038-03)
Enalapril 10 mg Tablets 60 ct & 90 ct: 9 mm, red, triangle (rounded triangle) tablet, scored in half, imprinted with S;7. (Manufacturer Solco: NDC 43547-0547-11)

Enalapril 2.5 mg & 5 mg Tablets: Lactose Monohydrate, magnesium stearate, sodium bicarbonate, ferric oxide yellow. (NDC 51672-4037-03, 51672-4038-03)
Enalapril 10 mg Tablets 60 ct & 90 ct: Ferric oxide red, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, sodium bicarbonate, corn starch. (NDC 43547-0547-11)
Enalapril 20 mg Tablets: Ferric oxide yellow, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, sodium bicarbonate, corn starch. (NDC 43547-0548-10)
Enalapril should be given orally as directed by your veterinarian.
Missed Doses
Give the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give 2 doses at once.
Side Effects
Side effects may include stomach upset, lack of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea. Notify your veterinarian if your pet is extremely tired, appears dizzy or if vomiting or diarrhea persists.
Other side effects may occur. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.
Drug & Food Interactions
The following drugs can potentially interact with enalapril: indomethacin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, potassium sparing diuretics such as spironolactone, potassium supplements, digoxin, diuretics, and other vasodilators. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, and a drug interaction may be anticipated. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely. 
This medication does not have an FDA approved indication for use in animals, but it is a common and acceptable practice for veterinarians to prescribe this human medication for use in animals.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not give to pregnant animals.
Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.
