Usage
Galliprant® Tablets should be given orally as directed by your veterinarian. Routine laboratory monitoring is recommended prior to use and periodically while on this medication. 
Missed Doses
Give the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give 2 doses at once.
Side Effects
Side effects may include mild stomach upset, vomiting, diarrhea, and decreased appetite. Notify your veterinarian if the following side effects persist or are severe: loss of appetite, persistent vomiting, change in stool color, decrease in water consumption or urination, or change in behavior.
Other side effects may occur if you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.
Drug & Food Interactions
The following drugs can potentially interact with grapiprant: nsaids, or corticosteroids (aspirin, carprofen, meloxicam,deracoxib, firocoxib, dexamethasone, prednisolone, and prednisone). Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet.  Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely. 
Cautions
Galliprant® should not be used in dogs that have a hypersensitivity to grapiprant. Not for use in humans. Keep this and all medications out of reach of children and pets.  For use in dogs only.
Galliprant® 100 mg tablets are not scored and should not be broken in half.  Breaking the 100 mg tablet in half will not guarantee that half of the active ingredient is contained within each half of the tablet.
If Galliprant® is used long term appropriate monitoring is recommended, can cause a decrease in serumn albumin and total protein.  Galliprant® has not been evaluated in dogs younger than 9 months of age and less than 8 pounds, dogs used for breeding, or in pregnant or lactating dogs or dogs with cardiac disease.
Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.

Storage
Store at or below 86°F in controlled room temperature, brief excursions permitted up to 104°F. Keep this medicine out of reach of children. Store in a childproof container. Store this medicine in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not store this medicine in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink or in damp places. The medicine may break down if exposed to heat or moisture.
