Usage

Proviable Fiber Supplement Powder for Dogs & Cats should be given as directed by your veterinarian.

Manufacturer suggested usage:
Increased stool frequency and volume may occur with increased fiber intake. The amount administered may be increased or decreased based on your veterinarian’s recommendation in response to your pet’s stool quality. It is best to increase dietary fiber intake gradually over a period of 5-7 days. Follow the directions for use below.
Mix with food twice daily.

Dogs:
Starting recommendation: Give 1/2 teaspoon* per 20 pounds body weight twice daily.
If an increase is necessary, double the initial amount.

Cats:
Starting recommendation: Give 1/8 teaspoon* twice daily.
If an increase is necessary, double the initial amount.

*Each teaspoon is approximately 2.6 grams of powder. Teaspoon not included.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place at a controlled room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Keep in a secure location out of the reach of children and pets. Keep the lid tightly closed after opening to ensure freshness.

Exposure to extreme temperatures or moisture may affect the integrity and effectiveness of medications and supplements. Always store this product properly (e.g., away from the bathroom, kitchen sink, or other damp places).

There are no known side effects with Proviable Fiber Supplement when given according to the manufacturer’s package recommendations.

Please ensure your veterinarian is aware of all medications and supplements that your pet is currently receiving. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when multiple medications and/or supplements are given together.

Do not administer this product to animals with a known or suspected allergy or hypersensitivity to it or any of its ingredients. Allergic reactions to medications or supplements may occur. Please inform Vetsource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known sensitivities or allergies to medications or supplements.
If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, discontinue therapy and call your veterinarian immediately or seek emergency veterinary attention. Symptoms may include (but are not limited to): swollen lips, tongue, face, or airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; and widespread hives or itching.
