Proviable®-Forte Capsules

Product Information

Proviable®-Forte capsules contain 2 times as many bacterial colony forming units (CFU) as original Proviable®-DC (10 Billion CFUs vs. 5 Billion CFUs for  Proviable®-DC). Proviable®-Forte capsules contains both probiotics and prebiotics providing a synbiotic approach to therapy which encourages growth of the Proviable®-Forte beneficial microorganisms within the intestinal tract.

Side Effects

There are no known side effects with probiotics when administered according to package recommendations.

Usage

Give 1 easily administered sprinkle capsule daily on food or pilled or as directed by your veterinarian. The Proviable®-Forte capsules can be given long term.

Cautions

The Proviable®-Forte capsules should not be given at the same time as antibiotic medications for full effectiveness of the probiotics; therefore it is best to separate the administration times by 1-2 hours. Probiotics should be administered based on the recommendation of your veterinarian. They are not recommended for pets that are critically ill or that have a suppressed immune system, or in animals that are severely dehydrated or vomiting.
