Proviable®-Forte Sprinkle Capsules contain 2 times as many bacterial colony forming units (CFU) as original Proviable®-DC (10 Billion CFUs vs. 5 Billion CFUs for  Proviable®-DC). Proviable®-Forte Sprinkle Capsules contains both probiotics and prebiotics providing a synbiotic approach to therapy.

Give as directed by your veterinarian. 

Give 1 sprinkle capsule daily long term or as directed by your veterinarian. May be pilled or sprinkled on food.

Fructooligosaccharide, gum arabic, gelatin, maltodextrin, dried Enterococcus faecium fermentation product, dried Bifidobacterium bifidum fermentation product, dried Streptococcus thermophilus fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus bulgaricus fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus casei fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus plantarum fermentation product, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide, and ascorbic acid

Proviable®-Forte Sprinkle Capsules have no known serious side-effects. If your pet is using this medication for the first time please watch for any allergic reactions that might occur, if your pet develops a rash, etc call you veterinarian immediately. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.

The Proviable®-Forte Sprinkle Capsules should not be given at the same time as antibiotic medications for full effectiveness of the probiotics; therefore it is best to separate the administration times by 1-2 hours. Probiotics should be administered based on the recommendation of your veterinarian. They are not recommended for pets that are critically ill or that have a suppressed immune system, or in animals that are severely dehydrated or vomiting. Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.

Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.

Store at room temperature no to exceed 77°F. Keep this medicine out of reach of children. Store in a childproof container. Store this medicine in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not store this medicine in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink or in damp places. The medicine may break down if exposed to heat or moisture.
