Give as directed by a veterinarian.
Manufacturer Dosing Recommendations for Small to Medium Dogs & Large Cats
Under 8 lbs: 1/2 chew daily
8-15 lbs: 1 chew daily
16-30 lbs: 2 chews daily
Manufacturer Dosing Recommendations for Large Dogs (Over 31 lbs)
31-45 lbs: 1 chew daily
46-90 lbs: 2 chews daily
The recommended daily amount may be repeated prior to an expected stressful event. The recommended initial period is 30-45 days. For optimal long-term results, product should be used in conjunction with behavior modification and veterinary consultation.
Missed Doses
Give the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give 2 doses at once.
Side Effects
Solliquin® has no known serious side-effects. If your pet is using this medication for the first time please watch for any allergic reactions that might occur, if your pet develops a rash, etc call you veterinarian immediately. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.
Drug & Food Interactions
There are no documented drug interactions with this medication. Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely.
Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
Cautions
Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.

Storage
Store at 68°F to 77°F in controlled room temperature. Keep this medicine out of reach of children. Store in a childproof container. Store this medicine in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not store this medicine in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink or in damp places. The medicine may break down if exposed to heat or moisture.
