Cardalis® 20 mg/2.5 mg Chewable Tablets 30 ct: 10 mm, brown, oblong tablet, scored in half, no imprint. (NDC 13744-0805-30)

Usage
Cardalis® should be given orally as directed by your veterinarian. Cardalis® should be administered with or without food. Do not stop giving this medication without your veterinarian's approval.
Missed Doses
Give the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give 2 doses at once.
Side Effects
Side effects may include stomach upset, lack of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea. Notify your veterinarian if vomiting or diarrhea persists or is severe. Notify your veterinarian if your pet is extremely tired or appears dizzy (uncoordinated).
Other side effects may occur. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.
Drug & Food Interactions
The following drugs can potentially interact with Cardalis®: acepromazine, amitriptyline, amlodipine, atenolol, carprofen, clomipramine, cyclosporine, desoxycorticosterone pivalate, dexamethasone, dexmedetomidine, digoxin, diltiazem, diphenhydramine, fluroquinolone antibiotics, furosemide, glipizide, hydrochlorothiazide, insulin, iron supplements, meloxicam, methocarbamol, mirtazapine, ondansetron, pentoxifylline, phenobarbital, potassium supplements, prednisone, prednisolone, previcox, salicylates, selegiline, sildenafil, sotalol, sulfa/trimethoprim, telmisartan, trazodone, and triamterene. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, and a drug interaction may be anticipated. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely. 
Cautions
Do not use in animals sensitive to ACE inhibitors or spironolactone. Do not use in conjunction with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in dogs with renal insufficiency. Do not administer to dogs with Addison's Disease, hyperkalemia, or hyponatremia.
Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.

Storage
Store at 68°F to 77°F in controlled room temperature, excursions permitted between 59° to 86°F. Keep this medicine out of reach of children. Store in a childproof container. Store this medicine in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not store this medicine in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink or in damp places. The medicine may break down if exposed to heat or moisture.
